CRSI Staff, Partners & Community Members, We have been monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic closely, and today I would like to update you regarding our actions. First, I would like to personally assure you our top priority is the health, safety and well-being of the individuals we serve, as well as our employees, families and neighbors. I would also like to assure you we will maintain the highest level of service to each resident we serve. Per the orders from the Governor's office, no visitors will be permitted at our ICFs (Intermediate Care Facilities) in order to minimize the spread of the virus within our facilities. Please be patient and understand that things will be subject to change quickly as we continue to receive updates and directives. We realize this rapidly evolving situation is creating unique hardships for all of us; however, it is our responsibility to minimize the long-term impact and implications to those we serve. Based on current information, our population is one of the most vulnerable, and we would like to minimize their risk to the best of our ability. At this time, we have asked our employees to stay home if they are showing any signs or symptoms of illness OR have been in close contact with an individual that has tested positive for COVID-19. We have limited our in-person meetings and are using video conferencing and conference calls whenever possible. To further minimize the risks to the individuals we serve we are implementing the following precautions:
