Tiffin Homes Ready to Open
Seneca Co.: After over three years in the planning and building stages, three new handicap accessible group homes in Tiffin are ready to open their doors January 4-7.
As part of state downsizing of institutional living services, CRSI was chosen by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) to build three homes in Knox County and three homes in Seneca county in order to provide services for a total of thirty-six people with developmental disabilities, according to Scott DeLong, president.
The Seneca Co. homes will open after the first of the year and the Knox Co. homes are soon to be completed.
One individual per home will move into the Seneca locations immediately when doors are opened and five more per home will follow once the Ohio Department of Health certifies the homes.
