Recently, Strive@CRSI was awarded the 2014 Corporate Meals on Wheels Spirit Award. According to Miranda Borton, Habilitation Manager, CRSI is the only corporate office in Champaign County partnered with the MOW program.

MOW services are provided by LifeCare Alliance, a United Way organization 15MOW award2serving central Ohio. Based in Columbus, the organization uses the Urbana Strive location as a delivery base where a driver drops off meals daily, to be delivered locally.

According to the LifeCare Alliance website, the meal deliveries also serve as a “daily check”, giving peace of mind to both the meal recipients and their loved ones.
