Urbana: Bill Adelsberger, Director of Ancillary Services for Champaign Residential Services, Inc. (CRSI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Rader to Consumer Advocacy Director. She previously was manager of MUI (major unusual incidents) documentation and implementation for CRSI which she will continue to oversee.
As consumer advocacy director, Radar will supervise the activities of the consumer advocacy department and coordinate administrative, human resources and quality assurance to ensure that consumer needs are met and staff are adequately trained, according to Adelsberger. She will also recommend, develop and provide staff in-service training as well as participate on local and state committees promoting consumer advocacy.
"I am grateful to have the opportunity to advocate for individuals with challenges and disabilities. I especially look forward to maintaining and improving our everyday interactions with those we serve," says Rader.
