Governor Robert Taft has appointed three new members to serve six-year terms on the Clark State Community College Board of Trustees. They are: Cathy Balas, Sharon Evans and Than Johnson of Urbana.
Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer of Champaign Residential Services. He also served on the original incorporating board for the organization. His career began as a public school teacher at New Miami School, and he later accepted a position as Residential Administrator for the Preble County Board of MR/DD. He then became a Program Administrator for the Ohio Department of MR/DD. Presently, in addition to serving on the Clark State Community College Board of Trustees, he is President of the Champaign Family YMCA, and he is past president of the Champaign/Urbana Chamber of Commerce.
