RE: Report Card for Madison/Champaign Counties
Urbana: "My Voice, My Choice", a project funded by the
Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council visited Champaign County Residential
Services, Inc. (CRSI) in Madison and Champaign County recently to interview
individuals that receive residential services. The purpose is to determine
levels of satisfaction with service providers like CRSI. It is also intended
to be used as one source of information when selecting a provider of services.
CRSI is a provider of MR/DD support services to a population of over seven hundred challenged individuals in more than thirty Ohio counties.
There are fifty-three individuals using CRSI in Madison County for support services and eighty-seven individuals in Champaign County. Out of these one hundred and forty CRSI customers, sixty-nine individuals or guardians responded by completing the fifteen question "report card".
In the five categories of Service, Quality, Rights, Health and Safety and Satisfaction, an across the board "A" in all categories with an overall rating of "A" was achieved in Madison and an overall rating of "A" was also earned in Champaign.
"I want to recognize that getting "straight A's" across the board is tremendous and I am particularly pleased that these ratings are coming from consumers and guardians, you can't do any better than that," said Mark Schlater, chief operating officer for CRSI.
