CRSI will again hold its annual Health Fair on September 14 from 1 - 5 p.m. in the new building located at 1471 US. Highway 36 - the rear entrance to CRSI’s corporate location.  Vendors who produce locally grown or produced products are being added to this year’s line-up giving more options for fairgoers, according to Sandy Loffing, event chairperson.

Last year, over forty vendors attracted 500 visitors. This year, the new building provides a larger space in which to accommodate participants and more than sixty vendors are expected to participate. In addition, outside spaces will feature homegrown or produced products that can be purchased.

Free services and demonstrations include blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol, sugar, bone density,  reflexology, personal trainers, massages, mini manicures and paraffin hand treatments, vision screenings, Dermascan, sleep center evaluations, health risk assessments, hearing tests, acupuncture, physical therapy and much more.

AAA Miami Valley is offering a free maintenance inspection and a free plastic spare key for wallet or purse.

The Medicine Shoppe of Urbana is again offering the combined H1N1/seasonal flu vaccine and the pneumonia vaccine - most insurances accepted.

New this year will be Springfield Urology offering PSA blood testing for a minimal fee.
