Mission

The Ben-El Child and Family Center's mission is to empower children and their families to experience healthier relationships at home and in the community.

Staff

The Ben-El diverse professional staff is made up of licensed and/or certified mental healthcare specialists offering high quality services. Thousands of children and families have been assisted in adapting to a variety of life changes.

Ben-El Child and Family Center also specializes in Autism services and services for the dually-diagnosed with developmental disabilities.

 

Certification, Accreditation, and Funding

Ben-El is certified through 2011 by the Ohio Department of Mental Health. Services are funded, in part, by the Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol Services Board of Logan and Champaign Counties.

Fridays: Walk-ins welcome for individual counseling and mental health assessment for Medicaid eligible, self-pay and approved insurance clients.

 

 

Early Childhood & Parenting Program

Ben-El provides an early childhood program for children ages 0-7, their parents and families; promoting healthy social and emotional development.

 

 

 

 


 

Community-Based Supports and In-Home Consultation Services

Ben-El provides supports and interventions in both the home and community settings; designed to increase individual and family stability, functioning and well-being.

 

 

 

 


 

School Consultation Program

Ben-El provides an in-school consultation program to increase collaboration between schools and the mental health system ; and to provide support for effective prevention, assessment and treatment for school-age youth.

 

 

 

 

 

Behavior Support Brochure

Ben-El Child & Family Center provides a full range of special contractual behavior support services for individuals with developmental and mental challenges . Consumer supports are designed to improve the behavioral and interpersonal skills essential for independent community living.
