Barbara Keller
Chief Business Officer
Barbara Keller, Chief Business Officer at the corporate office in Urbana started her employment with the organization in 1981.
Barbara is a lifelong resident of Champaign County and is a graduate of Bliss Business College in Columbus. Her experience within the company covers a wide range of duties, beginning as a secretary/receptionist which culminated into Chief Business Officer.
As CBO, Barbara is responsible for all business operations which includes eight regional offices and Ben-El Child and Family Center with two locations.
Barb has been instrumental in obtaining and maintaining multiple years of CARF (a not-for-profit accrediting body promoting quality, value and optimal outcomes of services...that enhances the lives of persons servied) accreditations in both vocational and Ben-El specified areas. Additionally, she has developed and maintained a "Safety and Health" program and an "Employee Wellness program, both of which are implented company-wide in all counties served and continue to expand with the company.
Barbara is presently a member of the Champaign Transit System Advisory Board, the Mechanicsburg Christian Fellowship Church Finance Team, and a member of the Urbana Lions Club. She is a past member of the Logan/Champaign County Alcohol, Drug, Mental Health Board.
Barbara resides in Urbana, Ohio. She has one son, three grandchildren and one great grandhild.
