The Bill Butler Champaign Open (BBCO) golf tournament is the agency's principal promotional activity. It is held annually during the month of August at the Indian Springs Golf Course, Mechanicsburg, Ohio. This tournament has grown to one of the largest golf tournaments in the Midwest with nearly 400 golfers and 100 staff /volunteers participating. This year’s 22nd tournament is scheduled for Wednesday August 18, 2004.

These tournaments serve two primary functions.
- To enhance and promote the service we provide to individuals with disabilities.
- To improve the quality of life for these individuals by raising funds to assist them in purchasing needed clothing, hearing aids, eye glasses, household goods and various other items not reimbursed through other funding sources.
Other promotional activities occur throughout the agency per location (bake sales, garage sales, car washes, etc.) to assist those individuals specific to that site.
